Creative Craft World, April/May Mini Challenge

I've made the basics of this minibook for the photos from my daughter Charlottes rowing season in 2013. The challenge over on Creative Craft World  is to make something smaller than 12 x 12, with blues and browns as the theme.  This minibook measures 6 x 5, a somewhat unconventional size but the size of card I hard to hand for the cover!!! The majority of the book is brown and blue it now just needs some embellishment, photos and decorating as we go through the regatta season. The first race being the 11th May  at her home club of Shoreham.  Since being shown how to make these minibooks by my friends Sue, Jan & Jackie I seem to be making the for all occasions.

Project Life

I started Project Life on week 11, i will go back and catch up the previous weeks so hopefully if I keep up! I'll have a whole year done. I tend to only scrapbook the big things that happen and places we go to so it's been good to keep a record of the smaller day to day things that make up our everyday lives. I'm going to incorporate 12 x 12 scrapping into my Pl albums (when I decide what one I want).

I have mostly been using my own supplies as i'm trying to use some up before I buy any more, but I did suscribe to a it from kit from willow crafts.  Which I have enjoyed using.

Below are the pages  have done Week 11 - Week 16

Here is a card I made from a tutorial on a friends blog

http://susibee-susibee.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/a-quick-tutorial.html

My card is for a friend to give to a special friend on her 50th. Excuse the photo (especially Sue) I was in a rush and couldn't bear to wait to take it!! I hope she'll be pleased with it & thanks for the tutorial Susi I loved it & found it great to follow.

My first post! and some photos from George & I's trip to London. We went to watch the London Marathon and cheer 2 friends on who we saw & yelled for. I didn't get there photo as I was so busy cheering and yelling like a nutter, I did get a few others. George and I behaved like tourists (which we were) we don't feel like tourists as I lived in London  for a number of years and George was born there, so it feels like home to us both. The photos might be hickledy pickledy as I'm still learning how to put them on!!
